The Intern Group is seeking a capable Salesforce DBA to handle our Salesforce databases, API’s and Integrations that support our website and upcoming portal. The candidate will own all support and development on the salesforce system, working with the Product Manager to drive through changes and enhancements to support the proper functioning of the business and support in development of website and portal components, where integration with Salesforce is necessary. This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up -  the successful candidate will have a firm understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, have experience in connecting Salesforce with external systems and managing complex processes/automations.

The location of this role is LATAM. The main language spoken in the company is English.

This is a full-time, permanent role. This role reports to the Chief of Staff.


  • Understand and analyze Salesforce systems and processes and improve operational efficiency through improved workflows, automation and analytics
  • Support user adoption of Salesforce by creating a best-in-class user experience, working with product team to monitor and address barriers to team adoption
  • Work with Sales Operations to maintain and manage Data quality through automated or manual processes, with scheduled tasks to keep data under control.
  • Support internal user requests including reports, dashboards, workflows, validation rules, process builders and flows, working with Product team to prioritize requests.
  • Troubleshoot request and/or errors flagged by users on the Salesforce system (this includes website form integrations and other in-house system integrations)
  • Work with product team to build and refine the sales process, creating clear and easy to follow process documentation and aligning this to the Salesforce system
  • Work with product and development teams to plan and execute on bi-weekly sprints, prioritizing tasks and communicating capacity/issues to leadership as needed.
  • Track and report tactical issues and enhancements to product and development teams, ensuring that these are tracked properly in the Backlog.
  • Handle design and execution of development testing, regression testing and support go-live planning for new salesforce features and changes/updates


  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology or a related field
  • Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator. Additional administrator certifications are a plus. Progress towards Certified Salesforce Consultant track desirable
  • 2+ years experience providing business solutions with Salesforce and +2 years experience in technology, operations, or a related field
  • Demonstrable skills with modeling data and building processes to meet use cases: SQL and relational database modeling, field creation and permissioning, process mapping and configuration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience working in Agile teams environment desirable.
  • Proven analytical capability - able to assimilate data, extract insights & present findings
  • Able to identify and solve problems, working with key stakeholders to identify the root cause of the issue, evaluate options and implement the best solution
  • Able to work independently and manage workload across a matrix organization, demonstrating flexibility to adjust to changing business priorities, processes, decisions
  • Ability and comfort to work at least 90% in English, working with remote, virtual teams across multiple time zones and regions for whom English may be a second language
