Magma Partners leads pre-seed round for Plaza

Brazil has over 530,000 licensed real estate professionals and 70,000 agencies, yet most rely on outdated systems. A DataZAP+ study shows 84% of respondents prefer WhatsApp for real estate communication, with 62% expecting agents to respond within 24 hours. 

Plaza addresses this with Maya, an AI agent built within WhatsApp that instantly interacts with leads 24/7.  Maya also improves the lead qualification process with automated tour scheduling and streamlines the tenant underwriting process by instantly screening tenants and collecting documentation. 

Brazil’s rental market continues to grow:

“In 2010, Brazil had 10 million rented properties. By 2022, that number rose to 15 million. I expect it will reach 20 to 25 million in the coming years," says Julio Viana, co-founder and CEO of Plaza.

The rising number of renters and low adoption of AI-driven solutions in the market presents a clear opportunity for platforms like Plaza to streamline property transactions.

Major clients like Novolar, Zelo Imóveis, SP Brokers, and several regional affiliates of the renowned brokerage brands Lopes, Remax, and Netimoveis have seen strong results after using Plaza. Data from current customers shows Plaza’s impact: Zangari Netimoveis has increased tour scheduling conversion rates by 323% and SP Brokers has closed 270% more deals since using Maya.
